Glory Days Diner, nestled at 69 E Putnam Ave in Greenwich, CT, is a charming American diner that never fails to impress its patrons. Customers rave about the delicious food, with highlights like the Greek fish special and mouthwatering Reuben sandwiches. The diner exudes a classic vibe, featuring comfy booths and an inviting atmosphere that complements its extensive breakfast menu. David Culbert points out the quick service and great breakfast options, while Kitz W can't get enough of the massive portions, which he humorously suggests are enough for two. The welcoming staff enhances the overall experience, as noted by many diners, including Richie Quiñones who enjoyed the standout French Toast with fresh fruit—an unexpected delight at a diner. Despite its limited parking and the bustling weekend crowds, the diner’s charm is hard to resist, with many patrons eager to return for more. Glory Days Diner is more than just a breakfast spot; it’s a local gem that genuinely reflects the heart of American diner culture. If you find yourself in Greenwich, this eatery is definitely worth the visit.

Nice little local diner was great food and quick service was great spot for breakfast. Only real issue was lack of parking only a small parking lot but street parking near by.

Classic diner, yummy food (great fries), super friendly folk, comfy booths. My only complaint is that the servings are enough for 2 people. Weekends they are packed. Parking area only takes a handful of cars. Walk if you can.

Stopped by for the first time and ordered a cup of coffee. The breakfast selection was quite extensive as in any other diner but then I noticed the “French Toast with Fresh Fruit.” Not so typical when the norm is just a breakfast dish with a “fruit” or “fruit flavored” syrup. The sides of home fries and sausages were ordered separately. The picture attached is just how it was right before I dove in. The fruit was fresh and a touch of maple syrup was just what I needed to just sweeten everything to get me ready for the day. The location does have parking but it’s limited as per the parking sharing spots with local businesses. There is street parking but you need to pay for it. The seating is comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the meal I had was delicious, the prices are fair and being that I was there for breakfast, the service was fast. I’m looking forward to heading back so I can try some lunch and dinner options. So being that the fruit wasn’t soggy, the French Toast was delicious and the coffee was nice and warm.. I stand with my 5 star rating. If you stop by, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This place was Glorious! We got into town a little late, so off to the diner it was! I was pleasantly surprised by the menu, the decor and the food. What a great experience and the prices were great.

Excellent food . Was just in there about a half hour ago and picked up a turkey club with bacon fries and a chicken soup. Service great quick and convenient. Was pleased to find a dinner that still makes good quality French fries. The turkey club was very good. Very pleased with the service will definitely be going back. Hard to find good diners these days. Price was very reasonable as well five Fistars and two thumbs up

The food was awesome. It was some of the best home sytle meal I've had. The server was great. Great attitude and checked in on us often. The manager, that was where the atmosphere went downhill. He walked past our end booth and ran into it fairly hard. Enough to jolt my seat a bit. I am sure that it hurt his hip. He said nothing and kept going back to his seat. There were very few people there with nobody behind us, and he kept staring in our direction. When my wife was returning from the washroom after dinner, he jumped up and met her in the isle way and stopped abruptly less than a foot away, put his arms out to each side, as to hold himself up, so the she could not pass and then proceed to talk to one of the servers over the top of my wife's head for about 40 seconds. After 20 seconds, my wife was clearly getting uncomfortable. Just as I started to scoot over to get up, he turned around without saying, "Excuses me" or anything to my wife, and went back to his seat. The dude was very creepy and very rude. We promptly left. I was angry because of this guys behavior, and my wife was clearly upset and very uncomfortable with a complete stranger pinning her in like that. It ruined the whole evening for us. Again, the server was great, and the food was amazing. But the manager was very creepy.
